          One of the best things that can happen to a teacher is regular classroom observation but often it creates unfounded anxiety.  Anyone observing you in your classroom should be there to help you grow as a professional.  Below you will find a list of categories with explanations that I gave my teachers to help them evaluate their own classrooms prior to any visit from me.  I called this list “In the Classroom Others Will See” because we all know that perceptions are reality; and we must take a look at what others are seeing in our classrooms, if we are to understand the evaluation process.
